Friday Night (High)lights

A late afternoon nap after a session with Junro, TJ’s and shower, and a woke up to sun on a summer evening! Texted Thomas to meet-up for a long walk and finished with excellent choices at Pacifica Thai: sum tom with seafood for me, plus lettuce wraps of T’s chicken and basil and finishing J’s peppers/carrots with Chef’s sauce. Yum! ONE BITE of ginger cake and coconut ice cream.

Beresford Park & Farmer’s Market

Found the best parking place in the park yesterday, so came back today and did the perimeter (and bathroom!). Then onward through the neighborhood to the market on 25th Street (at the church). Every Tuesday at 3.

One hour roundtrip with 3 rounds of exercises.

View through the sunroof!

Numb the pain away

Back to school today after 3 days dealing with some poison-oakish interloper. Great to return to the “tennis match in the desert”. A good Lenten theme since I haven’t posted since the Advent retreat.

Seeking the oasis from the “desert” lesson and the dental-esque drilling by listening to my fav “Definite Spaces” hit!

Advent Retreat

Annual highlight, this year punctuated by Valerie’s presence, the “sagrada familia” of Heidi, Luke and Jonah and Christine’s poem: Bearing Light.

Bearing Light: Saint James on California

Transferred quiet time in the Panhandle from the ISLC to the Presidio: lots of signs of Advent.
